Perception
A Poem by Pamela Dalton
lakes are but water after all.
Perhaps his face seems hard, his manner cold,
A person others scorn, and snub, and chide;
Yet if one takes the time, he may behold
A heart that's warm and tender, deep inside.
If we would seek to know the world of man,
Then we must search, and find, life's covert plan.
