Love is A Boat
They cry from crowded spaces
This boat can reach all the
scared and desperate faces.
This boat will take you
Where you want to go
From one rooftop to another
All souls in tow.
There is room for every being,
Scared, hungry and alone,
Separated from everything
They once called home.
This is not your fault
There is no one to blame
This happened to all of us
We are all the same.
Hearts are broken
No one knows what to do
You can't find your sister
She is my sister, too.
Forms are destroyed so
Light can break through,
The dark is exposed so
The sky can turn blue.
No matter how much I can give
It is a start
It is multiplied a million times
Because I opened my heart
When the will-to-good connects
Love can break through
When I see with the eyes of my heart
I am you.
So, come on, get in the boat
It will hold ALL of us and continue to float
Eventually we will land
On an opposite shore
To find our hearts have room for
Everything
and can always hold more.
