Sometimes It's Good To Cry

It's quite alright to shed a tear,
And know you'll meet another day.
When someone dear to you
Seems to be giving up all hope,
T'is then they need a friend that's true,
To cry with them, and help them cope.
Sweet tears of joy are shed
When blessed children come along.
You kiss their curly little head,
And sing to them a tender song.
You view the setting sun
And marvel at the twinkling sky.
The wonderous things that God has done,
So grateful that it makes you cry.
You hear a lovely tune,
And you recall a happy place
When you were flying to the moon.
And happy tears stream down your face.
And sometimes while in prayer,
Through tears you thank Him for each breath.
You know that God is always there,
And that does help relieve the stress.
Sometimes it's good to cry.
God knows the struggles of His sheep.
Don't be ashamed, and don't be shy,
For sometimes even God does weep.
