Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November every year, has been an annual tradition in the United States since 1863. It did not become a federal holiday until 1941. - Thanksgiving Day is now primarily identified as a secular all inclusive day of illustrating ones appreciations for life and thanking Mother Earth for providing far more than we, the humankind need to live a happy and healthy life.
Many of us, who reside outside of the on going struggles and bloodsheds for liberty and democracy, and many on going conflicts and slaughters in war zones, should celebrate every single day as a Thanksgiving Day. - I do hope one day soon Iranian / Persian people get the chance to celebrate a Thanksgiving Day for having achieved and established a secular, mullah free democracy, social justice and liberty for all in Iran.
