Its not so much that we are overpopulating the Earth, rather it is the abuse of our resources that has made the conditions as such that we now are facing an ecological collapse.
Areas that seem overpopulated, are simply those places where the human race has decided to congregate due to the resources that are available there.
Cooperation with Nature, with the \"rhythm\" of our natural resources, is the answer to correcting the existing conditions, and realizing that it could take 50 years from this point to even stop the momentum of what has already begun.
That which human beings put value on, is really rather worthless. Neither Gold nor Diamonds can match to the gathering of seeds.
The true value is within self. There is nothing wrong with having \"stuff\" as we are all creators, but to do so in a sensitive fashion. The human heart is where true value is created, the rest is just stuff around you that will disappear one day.
Some of the happiest people I have seen are those who live in a tin-roof shack in the mountains. Do you own your things, or do they own you?
And to complain about the economic condition that now ails us, to point the finger at the Banks, is to point it at ourselves. Every person who wears shoes, who drives a car, or who consumes by use of credit, has fed the Feds. We all are part of the consciousness of this Global economic situation, and rather that it be outside of ourselves, if we really dig deep we will see that the real Crisis exists within ourselves. The many rather than the few, have contributed to this economic situation in some way, shape, or form.
The State of the Union, is the state of ourselves. There is no Global economic crisis that we have not recognized before. What appears as chaos, is really unidentified order.
