I am profoundly affected by this song for reasons I am still learning. It was conceived earlier this year in my old shack on the edge of Saskatoon, which no longer exists (In fact, a new house exists in it's place already). This female voice in this song is my roommate from that house, Harmonica Donna Lucien. When I listen to this song I hear Donna's voice become the buffalo, I feel the energy of the buffalo, I remember the buffalo. Why, I ask myself does this song bring up such strong emotion, such rawness, I softly cry to myself under my headphones again....it's cleansing....remembering a past life when I could see the buffalo aplenty...I ask how can we be free again, unless the humanoids stop carving up the land for personal gain?....however with the stock market crashing and with all mutual funds about to be worthless, with the crash of the financial system.....there is Light flooding in from the Great Central Sun...the Eagle soars high, because it can see from a high
er vantage point, what is truly happening.....soar high sons and daughters of the Eagle...children of the Buffalo, your home is where you roam. Let the old die, so that the new Earth can be born, created by you.
