Washington Gov. Inslee seeks to criminalize speech questioning election integrity in push to destroy First Amendment

When Democrats tell you they care about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, you should laugh in their faces — because they literally don’t care about our founding document if it stands in the way of them exerting complete control over Americans.

Take Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington state: He literally seeks to cancel the First Amendment with legislation that criminalizes any speech questioning voter integrity or the outcome of elections (that favor his party, of course).

Reclaim The Net reports:

Big Tech platforms have, over the last couple of years, been heavily focused on censoring “misinformation” about elections. But there’s one politician that wants to take things a step further and make it illegal for politicians or political candidates to “lie” about election corruption.

According to Washington’s Gov. Jay Inslee, election candidates and those elected to public offices should not lie about elections.

In a legislative preview event by the Associated Press, Inslee noted that his office is currently crafting a bill that would criminalize speech by political candidates and those who have been elected to public office to “lie” about those elections (and by ‘lie,’ of course, we mean that these tyrannical Democrats will be the ones deciding what is and is not the ‘truth’).

“It should not be legal in the state of Washington for elected officials or candidates for office to willfully lie about these election results, and unfortunately they are doing that,” Inslee declared. “This needs to be made illegal.”

This man is a fascist, straight up, and so is any other politician, Democrat or Republican, who agrees with him. That these lunatics believe they can literally criminalize someone’s opinion is outrageous.

Inslee went on to claim, rightly, that our democratic processes are under threat while going on to falsely claim that former President Donald Trump, who legitimately had his reelection stolen from him (as mountains of evidence have proven), was trying to stage a coup a year ago Jan. 6.

“The defeated president as recently as an hour ago is yelling fire in the crowded theater of democracy,” he said, in reference to a statement Trump issued last week regarding the Jan. 6 anniversary. Trump told his supporters, “Never forget the crime of the 2020 Presidential Election. Never give up!”

The Democratic governor went on to call on political leaders from both sides of the aisle to more forcefully reject Trump and his supporters.

“The violence of January 6 of last year is just a warning of what is coming and the basis of it is the ‘Big Lie,’” he said. “That’s [why] I’m calling on all elected officials of both parties to join together arm-in-arm and call that out.”

“The defeated president and his allies, including some legislators in Washington state, are perpetuating the belief that this election was stolen from them,” Inslee said. “What do you think is going to happen if you perpetuate that belief? Of course, violence can be happening as a result of that.”

He added that the bill his staff is crafting regarding the criminalization of “lies” is currently undergoing “finishing touches” while his office is reaching out to Democrats in the state legislature to sponsor it. His office later clarified that the bill hones in on “lies about free and fair elections when it has the likelihood to stoke violence” — again, an arbitrary measure.

First and foremost, Inslee is right: Democracy is under threat, but from him and his party, not Trump and his supporters.

Also, the “big lie” is that there was no election fraud or chicanery; there was, and even Time magazine reported on it just a few weeks after Biden was installed in January 2020.

Most recently, election officials in Georgia have launched an investigation into ballot-box stuffing and illegal ballot harvesting that took place in the Democratic stronghold of Atlanta in November 2020, according to a whistleblower who says he was paid $45,000 to collect ballots.

Finally, here’s a question: If Inslee’s bill becomes law, will he use it to punish Democrats who are sure to falsely claim ‘vote fraud’ when a Republican wins the White House in 2024?
