Lifted from the muck of self importance
and the mire of self pity
the original human breathes new air
like the babe after its impossible journey
from salt sea to independence;
independent yes but irresponsible no,
for we are creatures of Gaia
and kin to the Creator.
We are born of star seed
and Earth’s richest glory.
Let our lives reveal our origin
and our living the brilliance
of our inheritance.
