                                In my meditation recently
With drifting thoughts, not really in control,
I was led to take Another Look
At all I've ever read from any book,
And how, upon my life they took their toll.

                                Suddenly I had Another Look
Much clearer than I'd ever seen  before.
I was awed by beauty all around,
By every sight and voice of natures sound.
The stars were brighter now, with misty lore.

Pink carnations seemed to smile at me.
The singing birds were telling me hello.
Was I here, or in another age?
No longer trapped, imprisoned in a cage?
But free to choose where e're I wish to go?

Here I was, a man of half my age.
No aches or pain, or thoughts of growing old.
Unpaid bills were something of the past,
Loved ones and friends I knew would always last.
With Summers not to hot or Winters cold.

                                From my meditation I arose,
So glad my book of life had turned the page.
Now ANOTHER LOOK was shown to me,
And from now on that's all I want to see,
For what I saw was the new GOLDEN AGE.
