Here's To The Ladies

Here's to the Ladies, the wonderful Ladies,
Who make the journey worth while.
What would we do without her,
And her sweet and tender smile?
Here's to the Ladies who sacrificed daily
In ways we may never know.
She went through pain in childbirth,
And lovingly she watched them grow.
She patched their boo boos with oxide and Band-Aids.
She bathed and dressed them for school.
She cooked their food and fed them.
She taught them the Golden Rule.
She baked them cake for their fun birthday party.
Drove them to soccer games too.
She made them clean up their bedrooms,
And to yourself always be true.
We often speak of the heroes like Moses,
Washington, Lincoln and others.
But we must always remember,
All these mighty men had Mothers!!
