Human beings are strange: they are capable of assigning great importance to things of little importance, yet they remain unconscious of all that is so precious, irreplaceable and unique in themselves. That the Creator has made them in his image, that they contain all the wonders of heaven and earth, this hardly arouses their interest. They value only books. What reasoning! Books, even the sacred books, are human works, whereas the human being is divine."
