sacrifice to agree to work among human beings, for he must constantly give them something of himself, and what he gives is not alwaysvalued. Fortunately he is linked to heaven from which he receives divine life.
An initiate gives below and receives from above. As for his disciples, they endlessly profit: they become wiser, purer and more advanced. They acquire a great many qualities, thanks to the sacrifice of their master."
