They become like stones in which life has slowed to such an extent that they no longer have the force to produce thoughts and feelings. Life is a perpetual movement forward, and those who refuse to advance regress. They return to the unconsciousness of a stone, which is nothing more than a sleeping consciousness. All their physical and psychic manifestations become expressions of this petrified life."
