Hi everyone...a friend of mine sent me this idea and I think it is great and wanted to share it with you.
I am sure you will think this is a great thing to do for our military. PLEASE BE SURE TO PRINT THIS OUT SO THAT YOU DO NOT FORGET TO DO IT. It would also be great if you would pass this on to your friends...just think of how this will effect any of our military men who receives a card for the holidays.
No matter what a person's thoughts are on the war, these poor guys and gals deserve our thanks and support. Just a little kindness can go a long way.
This is a GREAT IDEA! I hope you agree!!When doing your Christmas cards this year, take just one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends just one card, think of how many cards these men and women would get. These are wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much. What a nice surprise it would be. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include one card to the following:A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

This is bogus. If there isn't a soldier's name on the envelope, they get thrown out. They're afraid of offending a soldier's religion and/or an offensive message inside. They do not open the cards to differentiate. Thank you.
