What is the Patriot Action Network?
Patriot Action Network (PAN) is the official news, resource and social network of Grassfire Nation. PAN comprises a family of dozens of websites designed to help patriotic citizens get informed, engaged and networked with like-minded citizens. At the heart of PAN is our social network — a Facebook-like platform that allows you to get connected in real ways with other patriots by geography or issue. PAN seeks to provide patriots with a new level of networking resources as we serve the Tea Party/Patriot movement
What is Grassfire Nation?
Grassfire Nation is a networking website that serves more than 1.8 million grassroots conservatives across the nation. For the past decade the word “Grassfire” has come to symbolize cutting edge grassroots conservative online citizen networking. Now the legacy of “Grassfire” continues through Grassfire Nation — a division of Grassroots Action, a privately-held Internet activism services organization that provides news, information and grassroots activism services to individuals and organizations. We seek to provide a wide array of services to the Grassfire Nation so YOU can take action. These services include petitions, resources and practical ways for you to take a stand on key issues of our day. What are the goals of Patriot Action Network?
PAN is designed to be the social networking platform for Grassfire Nation and citizens who want to establish liberty and limited government in our land while opposing the rising tide of statism. This platform is designed to provide a place for grassroots conservative citizen-patriots to network and develop strategies and action items to restore nation to limited government.
What is the “No Tolerance” policy?
Every PAN member is required to consent to a “No Tolerance” policy which states:
I affirm that Patriot Action Network (previously ResistNet) is for principled, patriotic activism opposing the leftist ideology and agenda and is not a forum for personal attacks, lewd or profane language, or militancy (inciting violence) against Barack Obama, members of congress, members of this forum, or others.
Inciting violence, call to arms, flame baiting, and trolling are reason for denial of membership and or banishment from the site. Furthermore, this is a private forum and the owners of this site set the policies and have moderators and admins to enforce said policies. As such, I accept Patriot Action Networks strict No Tolerance policy and Terms of Service and will not make inappropriate postings. I understand that such postings will be removed and members responsible will be banned without further notice. In addition, I will report such postings to the site administrators.

What is the specific plan for the Patriotic Resistance?
PAN was founded just days after the election of Barack Obama and organized around three core concepts — Resist, Rebuild, and Restore. This broad structure is like an endoskeleton (an internal structure) which has allowed PAN to grow and develop organically as opposed to an exoskeleton which would limit growth. The early days focused on the first concept — a peaceful, patriotic resistance designed to expose the true nature of the statist agenda that threatens our nation.
This united resistance led to a broad coalition of grassroots Americans — the Tea Party movement — coalescing around the values of liberty and limited government. This second phase — Rebuilding — has helped re-establish the fundamental discussions of a free society. What is the proper role of government? What about the deficit? What does the Constitution say about these issues?
Rebuilding has led to Restoring the values of liberty and limited government at the ballot box. The 2010 elections were the first of what could be several election waves that serve to rebuild the political foundations of our nation.
PAN seeks to facilitate this process of resistance, rebuilding and restoring by providing strategic resources, Tea Party-sourced news and cutting edge networking technology to the movement.
PAN is at its heart a social network and our desire is to give concerned citizens both a forum for ideas and a practical way to get involved. Ideally, anyone who is willing to invest their time in advancing this patriotic, idea-based resistance to this new wave of socialism would be able to contribute through PAN. As we see a need, we will create volunteer “jobs” and post those on our Job Board. Those jobs will generally fall into two categories: assisting in developing the content of the site or assisting in developing the State Groups which are the backbone of our network.
Is the Patriot Action Network working with other similar efforts?
PAN desires to be a platform for any and all patriotic conservatives to network, share information and mobilize. Since we are part of a for-profit services company, we do not compete with the many non-profits working in the movement. Instead, we are here to serve individuals and organizations that are working to resist, rebuild and restore our land.
What is the best way for me to help?
PAN is organized around State Groups. These State Groups are the structural frame around which we can communicate and take action. Each State Group page is organized like its own mini social network with the ability to provide custom resources and social networking tools. Step One is to join your State Group. Network within this group. You can even become one of the administrators for your state group. Second, check our our Volunteer Job Board if you would like a more formal role. Third, please help us maintain the ideals of the site (see the “No Tolerance” policy). Report abusers to ADMIN. Also, be patient! PAN is growing rapidly. We will have growing pains.
Share information you receive or obtain through PAN with others. Knowledge is power. We must, as Citizen Activists, educate as many people as possible to make informed decisions in elections and to hold our elected officials accountable.

PANetwork is operated by Grassroots Action. We will provide opportunities for those who want to financially support this website.
