The Democrats are trying their hardest to get President Trump impeached but have failed on virtually every level, now, their latest escalation is heading right for a brick wall. The number of scandals that belong to the Congresspeople running the impeachment investigations is staggering. Here are the many ethical concerns about those leading the impeachment crusade:

Richard Neal is walking into the impeachment fight with a suitcase full of scandal. Neal is accused of using his government-funded Facebook page for his campaign, this is a major breach of ethics and it is also possibly illegal. An ethics complaint was filed by a prominent government watchdog group that had got it right in the past.

Eliot Engel is lugging around some pretty serious accusations of his own. He allegedly took money that was meant to cover overseas travel expenses for himself. Eliot Engel took tax credits for owning a home in Maryland despite campaigning as a lifelong New Yorker who came from the Bronx, this tax credit was revoked eventually when it was found that he did not meet the requirements.

Jerry Nadler has a lot of personal problems when it comes to President Trump, the two have been feuding for decades. Their mutual hatred for one another stems from Trump’s real estate days, Jerry Nadler is under criticism for carrying this feud over into his work now as chair of the Judiciary committee. Many believe the Democrats are promoting Adam Schiff and his Committee for this reason.

Adam Schiff has been a consistent enemy of the President and his administration, Schiff has already done plenty to get into ethical trouble in the process and it will be no surprise if he gets into more.
Schiff has several ethical complaints to his name stemming from his communications with witnesses. While the complaints have failed to slow down his crusade and worse have failed to correct his behavior at least it shows that someone in Washington cares about ethics.

Maxine Water is in deep water over the many ethical concerns that have engulfed her in recent years.
In 2012 Maxine Waters steered bailout money to a bank where her husband was a board member, the funds were in the amount of nearly $12 million. Waters also has a recent controversy involving her campaign mailers, her family members were making significant amounts of money from these campaign mailers and many ethical questions were raised. While these questions still remain unanswered, one thing is for sure, she has a lot of baggage coming in with her to the impeachment fight.

Carolyn Maloney, who recently took the chair position after Elijah Cummings’ recent passing, has a stake in several real estate businesses. The real estate company she gets money from reportedly has two properties in Virginia Beach that allegedly evicted several tenants for complaining about problems with the units they were renting.
Another set of baggage that Maloney is carrying is that she signed into law a bill that encouraged banks to start buying back certain bonds, the same type of bonds she herself had and sold for an amount estimated to be worth somewhere in the hundreds of thousands.
