Declaring independence from US psychopathocracy: disobey unlawful orders to kill Iranians

We hold these Truths to be self-evident...

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. --Such has been the patient sufferance of these United States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government.

If you didn’t do so, please take two minutes to pay attention to the preamble of the Declaration of Independence above. If you call yourself an American, that spirit needs to live in your soul.

The good news is that America's mass recognition of psychopathic political leadership in the US is happening now. We're at critical mass to cause our independence from destructive, illegal, and immoral policies, and reclaim the US Constitution for the public good. Importantly, I use the term "psychopathy" as a technical definition, not as an ad hominem. The definition of psychopathy is vicious behavior for twisted selfish purpose disguised behind an act of socially-concerned language and gestures. As a professional educator in US government, economics and history, this term is the most accurate I have for current US government "leaders" of the left and right sides of a singular colluding political body. I exclude and deeply appreciate the growing coalitions roughly centering around Dennis Kucinich on the Left and Ron Paul on the Right.

Yes, the leadership of both political parties are psychopaths; expensive suits with Orwellian policy and rhetoric that destroy the Constitution and desecrate American values. Republican and Democratic party leadership is a duopoly in collusion to rip America from the page of time and replace it with a sadistic empire of political and economic slavery. They rig our banking and investment industry to evaporate half our savings in unregulated gambling, and then use trillions of our dollars to bail the gamblers out without prosecution to continue their parasitism on honest Americans. Government surrenders our collective power to create money to banksters, who only lend it at interest instead of government creating money directly as the employer of last resort to hire the unemployed, end American poverty, and improve our eroding infrastructure. “Let them eat loans,” they tell us.

“Leadership” psychopathically deceives the gullible by saying we must kill millions of human beings in collateral damage in a “War on Terror” as effective strategy to both improve their lives and “keep America safe.” In direct opposition to Jesus’ commandment to love God with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind, we’re told to live in fear of what God might allow Muslims to do some day, while rejecting Jesus’ commandment to love Muslims as we love ourselves. They psychopathically give backhanded respect to Muslims by saying their fanatics are but a minor percent of their population, while also saying if we don’t aggressively destroy the fanatics they will come to dominate their societies and then kill Americans.

It is the US political leaders who are the wolves in sheep clothing; terrorists actively killing human beings while attacking our life savings in a controlled economic demolition. They prey on the weak while publically presenting religious and educational veneer; in fact their actions are loveless and self-destructively selfish. Those who advocate this path of killing and destruction are evil in every sense of the word. Our political and economic "leaders" see themselves as the "Master Race" reincarnated; above the law and able to subjugate humanity as their slaves for personal wealth and sadistic pleasure.

And they are also in direct violation of the US Constitution and international law.

Those of us with oaths to protect and defend the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, MUST refuse all such orders against the Constitution. Those in the military explicitly swear to do so:

"I, ____________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God"

This means that orders in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice must be disobeyed. The foremost order to be disobeyed is unlawful mass murder by War of Aggression, as emphasized by the US in the Nuremberg Trials after WW2 where we rejected the German defense that their actions were justified because they were reasonably following orders. The rules of war are meant to be simple so they can be obeyed and civilians are protected. For legal confirmation and history, read here and here.

I’d like to point to two excellent columns among hundreds in agreement with my article that the American people have been duped into Hitlerian Wars of Aggression, with new beguilement to include the killing of Iranians. First, Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury during President Reagan’s first term. He was Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal. He has held numerous academic appointments, including the William E. Simon Chair, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Georgetown University, and Senior Research Fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University. His article, “Another war in the works” gives the following prelude before laying out the facts that Iran is in complete compliance with the law while the US is in complete violation:

     Does anyone remember all the lies that they were told by President Bush and the "Main Stream Media" about the grave threat to America from weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? These lies were repeated endlessly in the print and TV media despite the reports from the weapons inspectors, who had been sent to Iraq, that no such weapons existed.

     The weapons inspectors did an honest job in Iraq and told the truth, but the mainstream media did not emphasize their findings. Instead, the media served as a Ministry of Propaganda, beating the war drums for the US government.

     Now the whole process is repeating itself. This time the target is Iran.

     As there is no real case against Iran, Obama took a script from Bush’s playbook and fabricated one.

Phil Wilayto, writing for Global Research in “Key facts to keep in mind while opposing war against Iran,” succinctly lists:

As we prepare for a barrage of anti-Iranian media spin, it would be good for anti-war activists to remember five basic facts:

One: There is absolutely no evidence that Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon.

Two: The U.S. has not discovered a “secret nuclear facility” in Iran.

Three: The recent Iranian tests of long-range missiles is a purely defensive exercise.

Four: Despite what we all have repeatedly heard, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad does not deny the Holocaust. (Please see quotes below.)

Five: Iran has a lot of oil. A whole lot.
