I wrote about the drug carnage spilling over into the United States. I understated the problem. It's HERE. I did more research. For a long time a killing group was under the Gulf cartel. Their hit man wing was called Zeta, which is the letter "C" in Spanish. The Zeta make the Taliban look like Sunday School teachers. Three years ago the Mexican government with our help captured and sent the king pin of the Gulf Cartel to a jail over here. Zeta was so big they started their own cartel of murder.

If a policeman gets too hot on their trail they have him killed. If that means killing his wife and children to get to him, so be it. They have no compunction to killing. Zeta finds young boys and brings them into the gang. If they find one that can become a cold blooded killer they capture an enemy and have the boy shoot him in the head. The report said, "Some young boys really take to killing."  When the 14 to 16 year old shows a passion for killing he is sent to one of their camps and taught how to use special cell phones, how to find people, how to use all the latest weapons, GPS, night vision goggles and the same equipment our military is using in Iraq.  Money for the Zeta is not a problem. If they need a jet airplane, they buy it. They drive Hummers with bullet proof bodies.

The bad part is they are finding young dropouts in the US and turning them into stone cold killers. In Laredo a cop was looking into a gang land murder. He discovered it had been done by a Zeta gang member. He made a fatal mistake when he let the word out he was looking for a certain person. The next day he and his wife were on the way to church and a van cut them off from the front. He looked back and another one blocked his rear exit. A third van pulled up beside him and started firing with AK47s. He was shot to pieces and his wife also. He lived long enough to describe what took place. A traumatized three year old in the backseat got cut badly with flying glass, but survived. Cops don't think the killers saw the child or they would have killed it as well. 

The sad thing is the killers, members of Zeta, were native born Texans. They lived in Texas, but the enticement of excitement and money drew them into the most deadly killing gang ever to exist in North America.

The Border Patrol gets pelted with rocks on a daily basis. The Zeta and Soronan drug cartels are having more problems getting drugs across so they get little kids...by little I'm talking about young as 7 to 12 to throw rocks. In fact the kids are paid to throw rocks at the Border Patrol Agents as a distraction. If the agents are dealing with rock throwing kids they can't be looking for drugs. And the agents have to deal with the rocks, because a 12 year old kid can sling a rock with force. Some use sling-shots which increase the volocity of the rocks. The agents can't shoot a rock throwing kid, because our ACLU would see he died in the electric chair. No one seems to have the answer. My solution:  Load their shotguns with bird shot and blast away at their butts as they ran. You would only have to sting a few and the rock throwing would stop. 

However, it will not stop the Zeta killings. They are now connected to gangs in 200 US cities. If you live in a town of any size, chances are good your local gang is connected with Zeta and when the time comes for them to start killing US police, they are in place. It's pretty simple. They supply the drugs for the Latin Kings and in return the Latin Kings kill whoever stands in their way. We read of drug related killing, but we are not aware that perhaps the hit came from Mexico. Many of the drug killings are not just rival local gangs, but the hit is being ordered from the top at Zeta.

Kidnapping have already started. The police are keeping a cap on the news. They don't want to panic the people. Most of us are safe for now, but as the violence spreads those of us north of the border will experience more than our share. For instance one 16 year old was arrested in Mexico and brought back to his home state of Texas. He had killed 30 people and he was not yet 17. He is in prison, but I doubt if he will live very long. He knows too much and Zeta will have him killed. They have someone serving life, so one more murder won't hurt. The kid who killed so many was an average student and bored. He was contacted by a cousin and made big promises. When he adapted fairly fast he was taken to Mexico for his first kill. The Zeta gang had captured a rival from Sonoran drug cartel and let the kid shoot him. The leader handed him a gun and said, "Have some fun." He never blinked and pulled the trigger. Thus a hit man was born and best of all he was an American citizen, who spoke the language and knew the area. He could find a lawman's home or where his kids went to school. He could find what church he attended and when the time came he could also pull the trigger.

Folks, we are not looking at a movie. We are looking at the biggest threat to our country, probably ever. They are the face of America. Unlike a Muslim terrorist who looks different or so we think. This is the face you see on your evening news giving the weather, your policeman, your mailman, your face at the cleaners. The problem is a lot of really good Mexican kids dress like gang members. We see a group hanging out at the mall and immediately think gang members, when in truth it may be honor students trying to look cool. What I'm saying is the face of the Zeta associate may look like the kid throwing your newspaper or selling you coffee at McDonalds.

A few years ago the US began training Mexican soldiers in our special services. We gave them the same training as our elite Rangers. These Mexican soldiers took that knowledge back home. All would have been well, except one thing went wrong. The Zeta could pay a lot more for their services than the Mexican government so they switched sides. Not all, but a large number of highly trained warriors are now working with Zeta. These killers are better trained than our Border Patrol.  One day we will be forced to send our best to stop them.

I do think the new president means well, but I don't think he has a clue what we are facing. He says the problem is in Central America, when in truth it has spread along the 1920 miles of border that divide our countries. Yes there are gangs coming out of Central America, but they are not as ruthless as the Zeta. Dear friends killing is a way of life for them. They will put their enemy in a 50 gallon drum, pour oil over him and set him on fire. Or they will drop his body in a barrel of acid and watch his flesh fall off. The lucky ones get shot. The Zeta are behind the decapitations. I guess they learned that from the Taliban or perhaps from the Spanish who invaded Mexico in the 1500s. They are the ones who wiped out the Mayan people. The Spanish are the ones who started branding their slaves on the face with their letter.  We learned to brand cows from seeing the Spaniards claim their ownership that way. 

Frankly I'm really concerned. We have seen nothing like the violence the Zeta puts out.
