Detroit police chief says armed citizenry led to drop in crime

Detroit has topped the list of most dangerous cities in the US for the last five years. New police chief James Craig has seen measurable success in reorganizing the Detroit Police Department, with the murder rate dropping 14 percent between 2012 and 2013. Craig says he believes arming citizens is the key to a dropping crime rate. RT's Perianne Boring talks to Matthew Feeney, assistant editor at Reason.com, to see if a gun-toting population really impacts criminals' decisions.
