Looks like the handy work of CIA and Mossad.  One million police? According to the most recent stats, there are 28,394,180 people in Uzbekistan, which means that for  every 28 people, there is one police type person, so the police are comfortably out numbered. From the below, we see that there are an estimated 431,591 firearms in the country, and of those, there is no published break-down of the respective types, along with estimated ammunition levels. Bottom line is, the people are probably out gunned in Uzbekistan, but not out manned. How can a somewhat poor country like Uzbekistan afford a 1 million man police force, without significant help from the west?
