VIDEO: We Can Save Rhinos

June 22, 2016

Did you know rhinos have existed for more than 50 million years? Long ago, they were widespread across Africa's savannas and Asia's tropical forests. But today, their survival is in jeopardy.

Tragically, poachers are wiping rhinos out, killing them because of the mistaken belief that their horns cure fevers, blood disorders, cancers, and even hangovers. But we can change this.

Watch our new TV spot to see how, together, we can save rhinos, and other endangered species and their habitats.

Together, We Are Making a Difference

Exactly one month ago, a healthy male calf was born to a recently-translocated greater one-horned rhino in Nepal. It's an encouraging sign that the mother is thriving in her new environment, and a positive step forward in creating a viable population in a wildlife habitat that crosses both India and Nepal.

Helping establish new populations is just one way we're saving rhinos. With you by our side, we are also finding cutting-edge technologies to fight poaching, saving fast-disappearing forests, restoring natural habitat, and more.

Patrick—thank for signing on to stop wildlife crime. You are making a difference for wildlife!

Please take the next step and become a monthly member of WWF today. Help protect the future of rhinos and nature worldwide.

Your sustained support will make a difference for wildlife and wild places around the world, every day. You will help conserve the biggest forests; safeguard the rivers and oceans; stand up for coral reefs, rain forests, deserts and grasslands; and give a voice to all animals.

Thank you for being a hero for rhinos and for nature worldwide, Patrick.
