Save the Wolves Left in Michigan

636

That's the number of wolves left in Michigan.

Politicians in Lansing want to cater to trophy hunters and special interests and deny the will of the people to protect the state's fragile wolf population.

Another trophy hunt could be devastating -- and we have less than two weeks left to save them.

We're looking for 636 donors -- one donor for each of Michigan's remaining 636 wolves. Can we count on you to be one of those donors with an emergency gift to Keep Michigan Wolves Protected today?

Despite the voices of hundreds of thousands of voters who signed two referendum petitions to protect wolves, lawmakers in Michigan have voted three times to open a trophy hunting season on this iconic species. They have even gone so far as to use scare stories about wolves that turned out to be false, and to take away the voters' right to have any say on wildlife issues.

It is critical that we defeat Proposals 1 and 2 on the November 4 ballot to send a clear message to politicians in Michigan -- and politicians across the country -- that America's wolves must be protected from this senseless killing.

We need 636 donors to step up for the 636 wolves left in Michigan. Please represent one wolf -- one life that shouldn't be needlessly taken by a trophy hunter -- by making a gift to Keep Michigan Wolves Protected today.

We and our coalition partners have just twelve days left to reach voters across Michigan through TV ads, leafleting and other get out the vote efforts. As with all election campaigns, it takes money to get the message out. Every single donation helps in these final days -- without you, the campaign simply cannot fund the efforts it will take to win on November 4.

Please help us win this war on wolves. Make a gift of $25, or whatever amount you can afford, today.

The wolves are counting on us.
