Our 15th Annual Wild Horse Boot Camp is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend this year.  We are taking registrations now for this 3.5 day workshop where our guests learn to gentle wild horses through trust and communication.

You will stay at our Wild Horse Canyon Sanctuary Ranch in Caliente, California in shared bunk cabins.  All meals will be provided.

Wild Horse Canyon is nestled in the High Sierra foothills and canyons of Kern County, just south east of Bakersfield.  It is ruggedly beautiful and very remote.  The canyon drive in from Hwy 58 is about 20 miles of gorgeous rocky hillsides, creeks, oaks and pines, and free ranging cattle.

The gentling program will be instructed by highly respected and accomplished horse trainers, Donna Maye West, Jenna Nelson, and Clay McDermott.

You will choose your horse partners from a group of wild yearling mustangs that have yet to be touched by humans.

The cost of the gentling weekend is $795 and includes Lodging and Meals.

By participating in this life changing experience you will learn to make that emotional connection with a horse that has never trusted a human before.  You will be its first encounter.

Our space is limited to 12 participants.  Sign up now to reserve your spot.

The workshop runs from Friday through half of Monday (May 23-26) but we ask that you plan on arriving at the ranch the afternoon/evening of Thursday May 22 to settle in and acclimate.  Activities begin early Friday morning.
