Support Wolves? Make Your Voice Heard!

Unprecedented times call for unrivaled and extraordinary action – and that’s why I’m coming to you today.

This Monday, September 30th, I’m testifying in Washington, D.C, at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (FWS) first public hearing on the reckless proposal to delist nearly all gray wolves across the Lower 48. And I need you there with me – even if you can’t be there in person.

I feel fortunate to be one of the many Americans who will be able to speak out in person against this disastrous plan, but I’m disappointed and frustrated that with only a few public hearings on the proposal, so many wolf lovers across the country won’t be allowed the same chance. We’re determined to make your voice heard!

During these hearings, FWS will be accepting written comments, and it would be my privilege to hand-deliver your personalized comments directly to FWS personnel on Monday.

Defenders will be there in force, speaking out and testifying on behalf of wolves – and even though you may not be able to attend, you can still make a difference!

We need to gather tens of thousands of comments to submit – so please join me in speaking out for America’s wolves and submit your comment by midnight, this Sunday, September 29th!

I will then hand-deliver your individual comments to FWS officials at the Washington, DC hearing, to once again show them just how many Americans support wolves.

We know the wolf-haters will be there in force. FWS needs to know that the vast majority of Americans favor continued protection for our beloved wolves. You’ll help deliver that message by taking just a few minutes out of your day, and writing in your own words, why you oppose this delisting plan.

Please, just a few moments of your time will help make a difference for the future of wolves.

We are fighting with all we’ve got against this misguided delisting proposal – but we can’t do this without you.
