Update on Crippled Donkeys & Neglected Mustang
Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue
Dedicated to saving abandoned, abused, neglected and slaughter bound horses through Sanctuary, Healing, Adoption, Rescue and Education programs: S.H.A.R.E
On January 17th we sent an urgent appeal to help with the rescue and care of two abandoned donkeys with amazingly long hooves that were years overdue for hoof trimming. We also told you about a mustang mare that we assisted Animal Control in seizing from her own neglectful owner.
Today I'm happy to give you updates on these special rescues that we were able to save with the help of our generous supporters.
And below is what they look like now.
As for J-Lo, the mustang mare, you will remember that she also had terribly long hooves, but also terribly underweight. This was the photo we included in our January 17th appeal.

And this is what her hooves looked like after being trimmed.
