They've heard you loud and clear! Your calls and emails to save the wolves in the Wedge pack in Washington State have made a difference.

But we can't rest until the kill order for wolves in the Wedge pack is permanently withdrawn.

This past Tuesday, I along with other groups, met with Director Phil Anderson of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and officials from the Governor's office. The kill order is now on hold — and state officials have agreed to reassess the situation.

But we can't stop now — this is only a temporary reprieve and the fate of the wolves in the Wedge pack is still uncertain! Call Washington Governor Christine Gregoire and Director of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Phil Anderson today.

Washington Governor Christine Gregoire: 360-902-4111

Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Director Phil Anderson: 360-902-2200

Tell them: Thank you for reassessing the kill order issued for wolves in the Wedge pack — but we need you to take the next step and permanently call off the kill order. The future of wolves in Washington State may hinge on the precedent you set today.

Killing wolves without clear evidence that they were responsible for livestock attacks violates the state's own wolf management plan — and the Governor's office has received thousands of calls from dedicated supporters like you.

Help keep the pressure on! We're so close to saving wolves in the Wedge pack. Please contact Washington state officials now – even if you already have – and click here to let us know you made the call.

You've got their attention! There's no time to lose.
