Act Now for the Great Outdoors

Bison (c) Joel Sartore/NGS Stock Millions of Americans will flock to the great outdoors this vacation season and enjoy the millions of acres of wildlife refuges, national parks and other public lands across the country.

But how can we work together to make sure these special places will be around for future generations to enjoy?

The Obama administration is looking for your ideas through the America’s Great Outdoors Initiative. This important program will help shape how we protect and conserve some of our most precious public lands -- but officials need to hear from you now.

Take action: Urge the Obama administration to implement an integrated national strategy to protect our great outdoor spaces -- and the wildlife that depends on them to survive.
