This is video footage of Suryia the orangutan and Roscoe the dog who became best friends upon meeting each other. Both Suryia and (now) Roscoe live at The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species in Myrtle Beach, SC. This story will be featured this fall on National Geographic Channel's show "Odd Couples" and later this month on "Oprah".(May 2009)
