Subject: The Wolf Slaughter Photos Alaska Officials Don't Want You To See

Wolves lying dead and bloody in the snow... Several dead wolves tied with rope, dangling from a helicopter... These are the photos that Alaska officials don’t want you to see -- the shameful evidence of the state’s out-of-control wolf slaughter.

Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund obtained these graphic photos of a brutal wolf-killing operation that took place near a national preserve.

Alaska officials have tried to stop us from exposing these shocking photos with copyright claims, but we believe the public has a right to know the truth about Alaska’s brutal aerial wolf-killing program.

Help us expose the truth about Alaska’s terrible wolf slaughter. View the shocking photos and support our efforts to pass the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act and end the brutal aerial killing of Alaska’s wolves.

On Saturday, March 14, 2009, Alaska wildlife officials took to the skies using helicopters and spotter planes to carry out Governor Sarah Palin’s escalating wolf-killing program near the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.

It was a massacre that claimed the lives of 84 wolves by state officials. The killing only stopped when officials couldn’t find any more wolves to kill in the area.

The terrible photos we've obtained show the aftermath of the wolf slaughter in which some wolves were chased down for nearly ten miles from the air -- then gunned down, according to audio recordings of the killings.

Please donate now to help us pass the PAW Act and stop Alaska’s wolf slaughter from the skies -- and prevent programs like it from spreading to the Lower 48 States.

Thanks to the calls, letters and donations from thousands of people like you, we're making incredible progress in our efforts to pass the PAW Act. Since last week, more than 26,000 messages were sent to Capitol Hill by Defenders activists -- and we’ve secured 10 more original cosponsors in the House of Representatives in the last few days, bringing our total to more than 80.

The difficult task of passing this vital legislation lies ahead -- but with your help, I know we can win.

Please donate today to support our campaign to save these wolves and make the PAW Act law.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will soon step down from office. With your support, we can end the brutal and bloody wolf-killing legacy she’ll leave behind.
