Another earthquake has struck along the New Madrid Seismic Zone. A 2.9M (2.7 magnitude revised) along the border of Southern Missouri.
After months of silence, we have now seen three earthquakes strike Missouri in the past week.
On April 2nd a 4.0 magnitude (downgraded to 3.7) struck directly along the New Madrid near the Missouri Tennessee border, this was followed 2 days later on April 4th by a 2.6M in central West Missouri, now today April 12th another 2.9M along the New Madrid(downgraded to 2.7M).
