I'm working on calculating where the next cluster of earthquakes/seaquakes that result from tomorrow's South Pacific solar eclipse will strike. � The eclipse course will travel across the South Pacific from east of New Zealand, across the northern NZ area and head on up, passing north of Australia, the Marianas and the Philippines. �
As mentioned in my previous message, I expect this event to cause a ripple effect of tectonic activity (that is already shaking up western South America, moving up the Central America into Mexico and Southern California).�
In fact, I just checked the EQ tracking program I use and the entire Ring of Fire is already experiencing a growing crescendo of earthquakes in Ecuador, Guatemala (7.3 a few days ago) and a 6.5 today, �There was a seaquake off Kamchatka Peninsula, an earthquake in Japan (near Tokyo), and an amazing string of 5 earthquakes across from northern Australia through New Zealand already, which in fact are tracing the coming path of the Moon across the area when the eclipse happens on the 13th.
I believe that this preliminary cluster is caused by the Moon's effect on the area now (as it crossing on the opposite side of earth today and tonight). �I have advised my friends on the West Coast from California to British Columbia to keep an "earthquake watch" for the 36 hours before and after the eclipse. �
As the eclipse reaches totality, the gravitational forces of Sun and Moon will sum up into a single gravitational tensor, which will pass through the Earth tugging on the opposite side of the Earth (as if the planet were being skewered).
At that point, tectonic planes in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, North Africa and Europe will be severely strained and may be displaced, (imagine the gravitational tug exerted on the mass of the Swiss Alps),�possibly�triggering earthquakes across a wide area, from North Africa to Central Europe.
