Subject: Several Large Quakes Hit South Pacific; Tsunami Warning Now Cancelled
Several large quakes have hit the South Pacific region. The largest of which was a 7.8 hitting Vanuatu. Minutes later a Mag. 7.7 hit the Santa Cruz Islands. Then one hour after the 7.7 event another 7.3 hit Vanuatu.

A tsunami warning was initially issued, then later cancelled. Watch for the entire ring-of-fire to show increased activity which could reflect the 'domino theory'. STAY TUNED

Is the Pacific Northwest Next?
Dawn Wright, a professor of geosciences and one of the lead researchers said: "There's a real similarity here to both the subduction zones that caused the Indonesia earthquake and pose risks on the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Pacific Northwest," Wright continues -- "Like many places on what's called the 'ring of fire,' these deep, high magnitude earthquakes hold the potential for dangerous tsunamis. That's what we need to be preparing for here in the Pacific Northwest."
