great observations

As many of you know, I've kept a record of anomalous weather patterns for many years now, but since September of last year, there have been so many events, that I've stopped recording them.

Every day there is a new report about flooding somewhere on the planet and the snows arrived earlier in the southern hemisphere this year.  They opened the ski slopes in New Zealand a month earlier, for example.

The above link is one worth watching daily, because if there is any special weather news, it is reported there.

The snows the brought China to a standstill last winter have turned to rains that are now flooding people out of their homes.  In America, rivers are flooding at record levels, homes are being swept away and cities are being brought to a standstill.

Because of a dearth of sunspot activity, scientists are warning that we might be entering into a new mini-ice age, so it will be interesting to see if the increased precipitation causes the northern hemisphere to be blanketed in snow this coming winter.

Much of the grain producing areas of the US have been flooded out this summer and the crops are lost.  We are already suffering from rising prices for food as a result of food shortages.

I can't advise you what to do, but I would seriously consider the above information and check out the link above and decide for yourself what is the best course of action you can take to be prepared should the weather continue in its present direction.
