Residents of Reno, Nevada are being urged to prepare for a bigger earthquake after experiencing the largest quake in a two-month-long series of temblors. More than 100 aftershocks have been recorded on the western edge of Reno after a magnitude 4.7 quake hit Friday night. That was the strongest quake around Reno since one measuring 5.2 in 1953, according to seismologists.

New Madrid Aftershocks Expectged for Weeks to Come
Geologists who gathered a week after a 5.2-magnitude earthquake shook the Midwest said they expect mild aftershocks to rattle the region for several weeks.
The latest aftershock, a 3.7 magnitude temblor, was felt in Evansville on Friday as geologists from nine states met in the southwestern Indiana city to discuss the recent quakes. "We will probably be seeing these for weeks," said Bob Bauer of the Illinois State Geological Survey.
The U.S. Geological Survey says 26 aftershocks have been centered in Illinois since a 5.2-magnitude quake centered in an area below West Salem, Ill., caused minor damage.

Al Gore's Film 'Inconvenient Truth' Found to be "Fake"
There is new evidence of misleading information in Al Gore's Oscar-winning global warming film "An Inconvenient Truth."
ABC News reports one of the most famous shots in the movie - of Antarctic ice shelves - "is a fake". The film's visual effects supervisor Karen Goulekas, says the film took the shot from the fictional movie "The Day After Tomorrow," which created it from Styrofoam and scanned it into a computer.
"Yeah, that's our shot," she says. "That's a fully computer-generated shot. There's nothing real in there." ABC wanted to ask Gore whether it was wrong for a documentary to use a fabricated shot to make a point, but says he did not return their calls.
