The Night Watch by Rembrandt is one of the most famous paintings in the world and resides in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. It is the most famous painting of the Rijksmuseum’s collection. It is 3.33m high by 4.37m wide (10.9 ft by 14.3 ft). It was completed in 1642.
With all of us staring at our iPads and iPhone, the great museums of the world have seen declining numbers of visitors. The Rijksmuseum decided to take action.
They took their most famous painting to the people by recreating the scene downtown at the shopping mall. See the link below.
