'HELLO, CENTRAL!' TO MOVE OR NOT TO MOVE! (Updated June3, 2014)

Greetings Patrick,
For years I have always felt that I have been guided to move my residence from one place to another. In my case it has also been from one country to another. (England, Ireland, Canada, United States) what with the present condition of things, i.e. radiation, chem. trails, possible earthquakes etc.etc.etc. I have often thought of moving away from this beautiful spot along the coast of Monterey California, but where has been the question often cropping up in my mind.
Recently I have been impulsed to give major consideration to the town of Bend in Oregon. I have done some google research and it appears to be compatible with my life style. So my question to you is, are you aware of any negatives that I should be aware of ? and or do you have any firsthand knowledge of the area ? it appears to be a safe spot in the event of major upheaval from earthquakes or tsunami but what about volcanic activity in the area ? I would value your assessment of this potential move as it will most likely be my last.
