My question to you is ; if all ideas and desires come from God, and are inspired in our mind and heart by God, where is our “free will” ?

I hardly believe that God that I consider TOTAL LOVE, which for me means TOTALL FREEDOM, might be a sort of “puppet master” pulling our strings!

Can you please enlighten me.

Dear AM:

All that IS comes from Creator Source! So, you could argue that we are all puppets in the "system", and there is no freewill. That is what John Calvin (Presbyterians) tried to do. This ignores a very important step.

The process of thought creation begins with an idea from God/our God spirit within. The second step is desire generated also by our God Spirit within. Idea and desire accomplish absolutely nothing unless the third step, action, is taken. Therein, lies freewill. One must choose to act upon the idea to "make it happen!" You can sit on your couch with a great idea and the desire to create something, but you will be sitting there fifty years later,unless you take action.

You may have misgivings and even fear of ridicule or failure, but until you do something the Angels cannot guide you or help you to achieve anything. You shall never know the possibilities nor your potential until you willingly act to make a difference! Then the miracles begin, my friend! That's when your life takes on a whole new meaning and vision. Freewill is basic to this happening. You must choose!

As usual, your explanation is enlightening and makes totally sense!

I could hardly believe that a loving God, gives us a freewill from one side, and then acts as a puppet master on the other side, as Satan does!
