Subject: abundance vs lack

Dear Patrick and Anne,

I trust this finds you well. I have a question that I have been wanting to ask you. I trust your wisdom.

I have struggled for many years with lack. I can't seem to get rid of it. I was thinking this morning that maybe it is because of Karma in my life. Over the years I have come up against some hard times and haven't been able to repay people what I owe them. I feel bad about it,but I can't seem to get ahead. I try to plant good seed of love, blessings, works, money, as I can. Yet My life has been difficult with money. I am thinking it could be that I have karma resulting from not being able to pay what I have owed people. I have been told that I am here to learn about money as one of my lessons.

Recently I have had two banks( US bank and Wells Fargo) That have done things to me which put me behind and now I don't have the money to repay them. I could go on and about the situations about money and the people that I owe, but not being able to repay them.

I have also been told that I was a Monk in a past life and took a vow of poverty. With this and the Karma I am so stuck financially. I have several business and they are not doing well or least what they could.

WHat do you think? Is there a way to be forgiven and release from this Karma and any vows? I so desire in my heart to help people and give. I do give when I can, but my SS covers my bills and that is it!

What step can I take to be completely released from any vows and Karma?

Thanks you for your reply and wisdom, MD

Dear MD:

Thank you for your letter.  Your problem with "lack" is a problem for most Lightworkers today.  Hatonn says that this is part of our mission to keep us focused on what is really important.  We, too, lost everything, but yet today, we have everything we need, not everything we want.  It is amazing how the Angels keep Fourwinds going.

To answer your question about Karma, we do not need to have any past Karma at this time.  All baggage of the past can be instantly removed forever, if we but ask for that to be so.  Creator God Aton has made that quite clear.  We have enough to deal with to accomplish our mission without the handicap of past Karma.  Just ask and believe, and it is done.

Many of us were "rich cats" in our past lives, and to bring balance we must now experience being poor, as long as it does not handicap our mission.  That is why Aton provides what we need.  There may be other reasons for our lack, and lessons to be learned individually.

I still believe change is coming along with abundance.  Be in hope and peace!

In Love and Light,

Dear Patrick,

What are your thoughts on vows? Whether they are past or current. How can one remove them?

 Thanks, MD

Dear MD:

Of what vows do you speak?  Only those made with Creator God are of importance.

Hi PAtrick!,
I was told that I was a monk in a past life. Monks take vows. I have felt that this may be the reason for such lack in my life that I took a vow of poverty. What do you think?
                                          Thanks for your help, MD

Dear Milton Dearborn:

Any vow of poverty that you took in a past lifestream would not apply now, unless you agreed in your contract with Creator God for this present lifestream to experience it again for your lessons in soul growth.  Creator God Aton does not want us to live in poverty to accomplish our mission.  Usually, we have all we need, but not necessarily all we want to achieve our goals.  With Divine Help we can create what is needed for our tasks.

The ego wants more, which is demonstrated all around us today.  What is needed is actually very little compared to what so many have acquired.  Just look at the garage sales.  Then we have many in America, who bought big houses with big mortgages, lost them, and are now living in cars and tents, probably for their lessons in soul growth to learn the difference between "need" and "want".  One of our greatest lessons is to control the Ego, and learn true humility.
