My fiance and i love each oyher very much,we are both christians and older with health problems we would like to be spiritualy and physicaly married but a marriage license would result in loss  of medical benefits, we will not live in sin but believe that the Lord can marry us without a license from a state. Problem is finding a pastor to perform the ceremony. Also must be close enough for us to afford to travel to them. If youcan please help. we live in nw ar.

Dear C:

Thank you for your question concerning marriage.

Why are you seeking a pastor to perform your marriage?  Do you think that being married under the authority of religion (Christianity) will benefit you in some way?  You do not have to be married by either a church or the state to be "married" as husband and wife under the Laws of God and The Creation.  Marriage is the spiritual commitment made between two souls with Creator God's blessing, and not some physical contract signed by a preacher or a Justice of the peace, though that is what most people think.

Society condones a religious marriage or a state authorized marriage, but not a "Common Law" marriage, but Creator God has no regard for any such.  If you truly love each other and are committed to each other on a spiritual level, you are already married under God's Law, and that is all that really matters both in this life and the next.  Congratulations!

Subject: A BIG AMEN TO T HIS ONE

Hey Patrick - -

I want to offer you a BIG AMEN to this one here about marriage.  My quick thoughts are that "they" could get married out in the hay barn and no government would ever have to know, much less collect TAXES for getting married. Think of the money "they" could save just for the organist. That is all a marriage license is - - a big tax on everyone. A fishing license is a lot better deal. And not being MARRIED certainly makes it a lot easier, and cheaper, later on their lives when they HAVE TO GET A DIVORCE.

You did good on this one, as usual! ------------------- WB from T

Dear W B from T

Thank you for your letter and comments about marriage.  There are financial advantages on both sides of this issue, as well as legal ones, which one must weigh carefully.  My point was that a spiritual commitment made between two souls with Creator God's blessing would never be affected by third dimensional problems, and divorce would never be a consideration or become a necessity.

In a true spiritual commitment between soulmates there would be no problem or difficulty that could not be resolved, and no challenge that could not be overcome in one's learning of soul lessons.
