Is the Lord\'s prayer a good prayer to pray to help Heaven defeat Satan in veiw of the latest article I read by your wife Anne, (Violinio Germain)? I want to keep it simple because my mother belongs to Elizabeth Clare Prophet\'s organization, and influences me with incredibly long Archangel Michael prayer\'s, (rosaries), and what not.

Thank you for your letter and most important questions about prayer. Prayer should be simple. As you will recall Esu Immanuel Sananda disliked the long and false or insincere prayers of the Pharisees of his day---2000 years ago. In Phoenix Journal #2, on page 38 Esu taught his followers "A Perfect Prayer", which today is called "The Lord's Prayer". You will note that it was altered in the Bible and as used in churches today.

MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. You can make your own petition or prayer according to your own need or concern or of thankfulness, etc. The simplest prayer Sananda says is only two words long--- "Sananda, help!" He says that when you say those two words in sincerity, immediately Sananda stands between you and your adversary;.
In Phoenix Journal 27 on page 66 Sananda again discusses prayer. The following prayer I have paraphrased from this discussion.
"I ask you, God, for the loving Light of Protection, guidance, power, wisdom, knowledge, TRUTH, integrity and courage in order to serve best YOUR will and not my will. I wait upon you, Father, to give me what I need to sustain in YOUR service".
You may wish to create a simple prayer with specific words of your own to defeat Satan and his evil doers. Remember that you neutralize evil energies by sending out the positive energies of Love and the Light of Truth.
