New 'Moon' Found Around Earth

It was discovered by Bill Yeung, from his observatory in Arizona, US, and reported as a passing Near-Earth Object.
It was soon realised, however, that far from passing us, it was in fact in a 50-day orbit around the Earth.
Paul Chodas, of the American space agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, says it must have just arrived or it would have been easily detected long ago.
Calculations suggest it may have been captured earlier this year.
Moon or junk?
When he detected the object, Bill Yeung contacted the Minor Planet Center in Massachusetts, the clearing house for such discoveries, which gave it the designation J002E3 and posted it on their Near-Earth Object Confirmation webpage.
Soon, however, the object's motion suggested it was in an orbit around the Earth. Its movements had all the hallmarks of being a spent rocket casing or other piece of space junk.
But experts are not completely sure what exactly the object is.
Observations made by Tony Beresford in Australia indicate that the object's position does not match any known piece of space junk.
Observations made in Europe have failed to see any variations in brightness that might be expected from a slowly spinning metallic object.
Paul Chodas says the object must have arrived quite recently or else it would have been easily detected by any of several automated sky surveys that astronomers are conducting.
Its trajectory suggests that it may have been captured in April or May of this year, but there is still some uncertainty about this.
If it is determined that J002E3 is natural it will become Earth's third natural satellite.
Earth's second one is called Cruithne. It was discovered in 1986 and it takes a convoluted horseshoe path around our planet as it is tossed about by the Earth's and the Moon's gravity.

Part of the work that the Galactic Federation is doing to prepare our solar system for Ascension includes restoring Mother Gaia's original two moon system. Our current moon is an artificial titanium space station that is camoflauged to look like a moon. After the last great Galactic War destroyed Gaia's two original moons, this former moon of Maldek (a.k.a. Bellona), which was created in the Orion System and towed through a stargate to our solar system, was placed in Earth orbit to help stabilize Gaia's orbit. Maldek (a.k.a. Bellona) was a huge water planet, approximately 46,700 kilometers in diameter (29,000 miles), that orbited between Mars and Jupiter and served as a base of operations for the former Anchara Alliance until it was obliterated by the Galactic Federation's Flagship/Battlestar, Nibiru, under orders from the Main Galactic Federation Council.
Currently, Maldek/Bellona consists of billions of asteroids and small planetoids that our astronomers call the Asteroid Belt. Once actual First Contact commences upon Earth, scientists of the Galactic Federation will begin the reconstitution and terraforming of Maldek/Bellona, returning her to her original configuration. The terraforming operations upon Venus and Mars have been in the works for several solar years. Scientists, astronomers and planetary scientists at NASA, The European Space Aagency, as well as the Japanese, Russian and Chinese Space Agencies are all well aware of the changes currently taking place on Venus, Mars and the Sun. According to my sources in the Ashtar Command, a special probe was fired directly into the heart of our Sun (the Spirits of Helios and Vesta) that began an almost instantaneous transformation of every cubic centimeter of hydrogen into helium. Therefore, all of the hydrogen contained in our sun has been transmuted into Helium; we have a Helium-fired sun. This is one of the reasons for our sun's "deviation" from it's normal predictable 11-year cycles of hyperactivity.
This is not information you are likely to find on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, or any other American mass media outlet. In order to catch even a glimmer of the truth it is necessary to tune into and at least occasionally monitor European news agencies, which do not fall under the immediate control of the American Illuminati. The BBC seems to be a fairly reliable source, if discernment is duly employed.
