GREAT NEWS: President Obama just vetoed the bill that would have forced approval of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

This is a huge victory for NRDC and our partners -- and for activists like you, who sent President Obama hundreds of thousands of messages urging him to put people before polluters and veto this climate-wrecking pipeline. Your voices were heard!

But the fight is not yet over. The State Department is getting ready to issue its final decision that will determine whether or not the pipeline is in America's national interest -- and should be rejected.

We're now at another turning point in this fight -- and we need you to make your voice heard in opposition to the pipeline once again.

Please thank President Obama for vetoing the Keystone XL bill -- and urge him to go one step further by rejecting the pipeline for good.

The President has promised to stop the Keystone XL if it drives significantly more global warming pollution and climate chaos. The evidence is now overwhelming that this project would do exactly that.

Tell the President that the Keystone XL is not in our national interest -- and that he's got overwhelming public support to reject it!

Make no mistake: we're still up against big polluters and their allies in Congress who are determined to bulldoze ahead with their Big Polluter Agenda.

Their first order of business is to green light this climate-wrecking pipeline, which would endanger the American heartland, worsen our dependence on fossil fuels and accelerate climate change. They're not going to give up without a fight.

I'm sure you agree: We've come too far to give up now. Please make your voice heard at the White House right away. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rhea
