Peak Oil
This is going to upset alot of you!!!!!!!!! but yes my friends, I agree, "PEAK OIL" is a total scam !!!!!!!!!!
I was a young man during the Carter Administration when America was first hit hard by the "Arab Oil Embargo" and prices at the pump, that had been steady during my entire life as a kid, doubled overnight.....
Back when "Service Stations" were Service Stations, I know for during high-school I worked a full service, service station for there wasn't anything else..... When a "Customer" drove in, they never left their car, unless they wished to use separate and cleaned twice a day restrooms........ we would pump the gas to the customers request, we would hand wash & dry all the Glass on their vehicle, we would check under the hood by checking their oil and any and all fluids and top off any, for free, and if oil was needed to the engine offer them for purchase a wide variety to choose from and put it in for them at no additional costs, Cigarettes were offered to be purchased at the pumps as well for 35 cents a pack.... During peak hours one would and could be doing this to 6 to 8 vehicles at a time and if you were lucky there may be two of us hustling the pumps... We did this for minium wage and back then we never got tips.....
BAM !!!!!!!!! over-nite America changed forever...... the Ma' & Pa' independent service stations, who were owned and operated by people who were just trying to make an honest living and provide a service for America were caught in the middle of the Corportate take over of the fuel distributions... the Corporations who OWNED the fuel decided they were not going to sell their product any longer to those outside of their own Corporate owned facilities, thus setting the stage for what we have today... slowly one by one, the indendent was closing it's doors and shutting down their operations..... All gone forever and any remembrance of those days are either in museums or in the memories of those such as myself...
Peak Oil is a scam perpetrated by the Corporations for greed & profits...... This is a slow process of putting a frog in a pot of cold water and slowly turning up the heat until it dies, the frog will never jump out of the pot...
