Can You Volunteer Time to Help Pass this Critical GMO Labeling Law?

In just two months, the people of Washington State will decide the fate of GMO labeling. This is a critical GMO labeling battle, one that will have an impact on GMO labeling in all 50 states.
That’s why we need volunteers from all 50 states to reach out to Washington voters to let them know how important their vote is.
Can you volunteer a few hours of your time to call Washington State voters? If so, please sign up here for a quick training session on how you can become a volunteer phone banker.
The first training session is Thursday, August 29th at 7 p.m. PST and will last about 30 minutes. If you miss this week, no problem! Training sessions will take place every Thursday at 7 p.m. PST.
All you need is a phone and internet. Phone scripts will be sent on Tuesday, August 27, with the reminder email for the virtual training.
Ballot initiative I-522, which will let shoppers decide for themselves whether to buy GMO food or not, is already drawing the same misleading attack ads that took down Prop 37 in California.
But we can keep their misinformation campaign from working by talking to voters about why labels matter. With your help, we won’t let what happened in California happen again.
