Saudi wants to build 200 mosques in Germany.

Saudi Arabia’s government has so far denied entry to any refugees from Syria – but instead, the Arab nation is offering to construct 200 mosques in Germany to serve the migrants, various media reported.

Such a move would bring a dramatic change to the religious demographics of Germany. As Breitbart noted, “In Islamic traditions, which Saudi Arabia claims to uphold and enforce, Islam should be spread by jihad wars and by migrations, dubbed a hijra.”

The mosques offered Germany would still be operated and overseen by Saudi Arabia.

International Business Times reported: “The Lebanese newspaper Ad-Diyar first reported the offer last week, citing a request by a committee of sheiks. Saudi Arabia also vowed to donate at least $200 million, according to the Lebanese paper, although whether that was to support the refugees or to build the suggested mosques was unclear.”

The fact the mosques would remain under Saudi influence indicates the growth of Islam, and particularly the strict Islamist teachings furthered by Saudi Arabia’s government, could soon alter the scope of Germany’s landscape, some say.

The offer comes as various media reported the majority of refugees headed to Europe are Muslim men of military age, hailing from countries other than Syria.

Meanwhile, Saudi’s influence in mosques in America has been well documented.

In January 2006, the Freedom House’s Center for Religious Freedom wrote in an 89-page report, Saudi Publications on Hate Ideology Fill American Mosques,” that the nation’s extreme Wahhabi beliefs have touched down with alarming intensity on U.S. soil.

Among the report findings: “Various Saudi government publications gathered for this study, most of which are in Arabic, assert that it is a religious obligation for Muslims to hate Christians and Jews and warn against imitating, befriending or helping them in any way, or taking part in their festivities and celebrations … [and] the documents promote contempt for the United States because it is ruled by legislated civil law rather than by toatlitarian Wahhibi-style Islamic law.”

The significance is Saudi’s intersts and views were found to be pushed in mosques on U.S. lands.

The Freedom House found Saudi “publications propagating an ideology of hatred remain plentiful in some prominent American mosques and Islamic centers, and continue to be a principal resource available to students of Islam within the United States.”
