Trust me, I am not rooting for my view to be so, because I do love the Egyptian people, and with great sadness, I lament what I am about to say. Actually it is not what I am about to say but the words come from the Master.  "No man puts new wine into old wineskins neither does one put a new patch on an old garment. Lest after putting in new wine into the old wineskin the old wineskins bursts and the wine pours out, and the new patch tearing away from the garment causes a more serious problem then before."

Jesus spoke these words two thousand years ago and He was of course referring to the Jewish Law (the Old Testament Law) as the religious system and that being the old wineskin and the old garment; as well, being unable to contain the "New Wine".

The principal of old wineskin and old garment of Egypt's religious orientation (which is the Koran and Islam) is interesting to consider if not prophetic in light of these words of Christ.

Today, in light of the current developments in Cairo, I believe Christ's parable rings true and is applicable.

If you want to have new wine you must begin with a "new wineskin." A wineskin is a context. A garment is also a context. A context is something that holds something. A picture frame is a context that holds a picture and so on. The Old Testament was the frame work or context for Jewish life. The context for the Muslim world is the Koran.

The problem for Egypt is that they are not ready for the new wine of democracy, because they have not shed the old context wineskin; Islam. In essence the people want to pour new wine into their old wineskin and put a patch on their old garment. According to Jesus this will not work and in fact will become far worse.

Islam's Koran (the old wineskin and old garment) has called for a world wide totalitarian theocracy; the age old process for this through Jihad. This is the religious code for all Muslims. This is their mental orientation

But unless and until there is a mental transformation or a mental revolution, and a turn from Islam, the old Wineskin will not be able to contain the new wine nor can you sew this patch on the old garment.

Islam's Koran seeks to control and direct all aspects of Muslim life through Sheria law. This is not democracy, but rather it is a religious theocracy; a totalitarianism. The idea of a democracy and the Koran's dictates are mutually exclusive.

While the present conditions in Egypt have fallen under the authority of the military..., when the supposed elections are to be held next September there will not be enough time to reeducate the masses. They will simply default in their minds to their religious orientations. There simply is not enough time to deliver the people from 5000 years of the worship of the pagan Moon god.

Make no mistake about it; Islam's Allah predates Mohammed by 3700 years. This ancient religious influence has vexed that region of the world for a long time. Today, there are eleven countries whose flags today acknowledge this pagan "moon god" from antiquity, as you can see the crescent moon and the stars thereof proclaiming homage to this foreign deity "moon god."

In order for there to be a true revolution the people must be liberated mentally and that calls for education. Today the news in Egypt; which is the de facto education system, is by and large controlled by Al Jazeera, and the labor unions are controlled by the Islamic Brotherhood.

You can't change the wineskin or the garment in a few months or even a few years. Their must come to the Egyptians and the entire Muslim world a mind revolution.

A political revolution is merely a patch on an old garment and the attempt to pour new wine into and old wineskin is a looming disaster.

Sadly, and with the old garment, the people will only fall under a more severe theocratic totalitarianism. Israel be warned.

In spite of these dire and ominous eventualities ...please do remember this. Christ came to set us free from the mental affect of external regimes and to revolutionize and liberate our minds.  The Kingdom of Heaven is within.
