A woman called in and said that a few years a go, while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings, MT, she had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes; many ranchers and their wives were waiting.

Ted Turner and his ex-wife Jane Fonda came in the restaurant and wanted a table. The hostess informed them that they'd have to wait 45 minutes.

Jane Fonda asked the hostess, "Do you know who I am?" The hostess answered, "Yes, but you'll have to wait 45 minutes." Then Jane asked if the manager was in. When the manager came out, he asked, "May I help you?" "Do you know who we are?" both Ted and Jane asked. "Yes, but these folks have been waiting, and I can't put you ahead of them."

Then Ted asked to speak to the owner. The owner came out, and Jane again asked, "Do you know who I am?" The owner answered, "Yes, I do. Do you know who I am? I am the owner of this restaurant and I am a Vietnam Veteran. Not only will you not get a table ahead of my friends and neighbors who have been waiting here, but you also will not be eating in my restaurant tonight or any night. Good bye."

Only in America - what a great country!!!!

Concerning the posted article, "Dinner in Montana" on the Fourwinds10 website: OK, great--so the billionaire and his liberal wife can't get a table in a Montana steakhouse no matter how hard they try and pull there celebrity card--and, glory be! the owner just so happens to be a Vietnam vet and puts old "Hanoi Jane" in her place! Yahoo for freedom and all that, but that war was a criminal act and the real traitors to America aren't the Jane Fondas of the world, knuckleheaded as they may be, but rather the G. Bushes, D. Cheneys D. Rumsfelds and their lot not to mention their "handlers"(the new world order crowd) and a whole host of Satan's henchmen who continue to rain destruction on the earth and her most disadvantaged citizens. Why people continue to wave that Fonda-Traitor flag after all these years is beyond me. How about this one--"L.B. J./ Nixon- Traitors/Murderers"......You'll never see that sticker on bathroom wallsl-- but it makes a lot more sense than blaming Jane Fonda for the tragedy that was Vietnam. Thankfully, I know not all Vietnam vets buy into the "demonise Fonda" deal and could care less about her one way or the other. They're still trying to get over a govt. that would lie, cheat and steal to get what they want and use a generation of young men's lives to do it. And it's still going on. Post more articles about that and get over Jane Fonda. Ted did.
