One of the leading organizers of tomorrow's (December 13, 2014) Millions March for justice for Eric Garner and Michael Brown in New York City just called me with an urgent request. Thousands more people than they expected are going to show up tomorrow, and they need more resources for stage and sound equipment to communicate with the massive crowd.
We need more than a mic check. With a march of this size, the speakers and organizers need to be able to easily speak to the crowd. And we need to make sure the news media can hear us loud and clear when we demand justice for all of us.
We're hoping to raise $10,000 to give to the organizers tomorrow morning. Can you contribute $5 to fund staging and sound equipment for tomorrow's march?
