Let’s Salute Egyptians’ Defiance

The feared Day of Death has finally arrived in Egypt. The world was waiting for it for the whole Holy Month of Ramadhan. The international community’s efforts were limited to convincing the world that it is playing its “peacekeeping role” as always. This time this was aimed at bringing parties to a peaceful settlement without any talk of the reversal of the Original Sin – the ouster of the only elected President of Egypt with a margin, which is enviable for most of the democracies of the world. Their game plan was simple. Democracy in Muslim countries is acceptable only if it is able to keep Islam and Islamic forces away from power. If instead democracy brings Islam at the centre stage there is no way it could be allowed to functions. First every possible trick will be employed not to let it function. And then the whole blame will be put on its head for failing to satisfy the masses. Then it will use its supporters to hold “massive” protests which would within a couple of days give the military a reason sufficient enough to stage a coup. While the 48 hour-long protests would mean a clear call for change, 6 week-long sit-ins would have no meaning at all. Another one day call for the supporters to “give mandate” for action, and the plans for massacre would be ready. In an unprecedented show of resolve, the Islam lovers would demonstrate defiance and courage that has hardly any parallel in recent years with the sole exception of the Iranian people who completed Islamic Revolution more than 30 years back.

The Holocaust that was feared has now truly begun. The massacre of unarmed lovers of God has reddened the face of the earth. The whole world is watching. Many will be rejoicing. The real lovers of humanity will be full of tears though. If those who are rejoicing feel that this will prove to be a final nail into the coffin of what they call Islamism they will be proved wrong sooner than later. This day will prove to be another milestone, perhaps bigger than any in recent history, in the rise of Islam as a global force. The martyrdom does never go waste, and the martyrdom of Egyptians will not go waste either. The Western strategy of switching from wars against Muslim lands to civil wars is now for all to see. The Satans are planning but the Lord of the Universe is also planning.

The massacre is still only in its early phase. The figure, according to unofficial figures, has already touched one thousand. By tomorrow, it may rise to new highs. The people are on the street throughout the country. The military has no choice: kill the innocent people or leave. If they leave, the revolution will be complete. If they stay to kill, they will write another bloody episode of history, which will not be forgotten foe centuries. But they must remember that the Divine wrath will not spare them for too long.
