After taking over the healthcare industry, part of the banking sector, a large segment of the energy industry, and a portion of the auto industry, the Obama administration now has housing “redistribution” in its socialist crosshairs.

Big Brother now wants to change the makeup of America’s neighborhoods, which would include the communities in Rapid City.

According to a Fox News report released Thursday…

In other words, if the government doesn’t like the social and economic makeup of your neighborhood, they intend to change it!  

The “criteria” the central planners would use is as of yet undefined, but with the Obama administration, any criteria will suffice… gender, age, color, creed, income, religious affiliation, sexual orientation – the “criteria” could be anything Big Government chooses to manipulate!

++There is no end to the “change” Big Brother wants to deploy.

This HUD plan has come to light while President Obama is stumping around the nation calling for more economic reforms, including the reorganization of the mortgage giants, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Liberal “progressives” have recently been calling for additional lending measures to help low income people buy housing, a move which less than ten years ago destroyed the foundation of the housing industry and brought our economy to the brink of financial ruin.

Barack Obama’s nomination of Representative Mel Watt (D-NC) to head the oversight of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae signals a major federal initiative on housing is coming.  Watt played a key role in the very government programs offering “no documentation”   loans to people who would not otherwise qualify for a mortgage that directly led to the recent housing market collapse.

Mel Watt is a life-long proponent of government manipulation of the financial industry to redistribute real estate ownership.  If confirmed, it would be tantamount to rewarding one of the chief architects of the recent near-fatal financial crisis with oversight of two multi-trillion dollar agencies!

++Redistribution of wealth, health, housing, and central control of industry are the hallmarks of a socialist economy.

Left unchecked, it won’t be long until the government chooses our healthcare plan (if there is a choice), decides where we live, dictates where we work, and decides what career path we will be assigned. Sound far-fetched?  Look at what’s happened to our nation in just five years with Barack Obama at the helm.

Our government is out of control – and it will take every one of us to stop it by demanding that feckless politicians stand up against socialist tyranny.  It’s as simple as that.

Truly, we are now facing some of the most important battles the American people have ever fought against tyranny! We must rise up now before it’s too late.

++Pastors and God-fearing patriots are God’s weapons against tyranny.

As Alexis de Tocqueville, the famous nineteenth century historian and political writer observed, America’s greatness isn’t found in its industry, its economics, or its military – it is found in its “pulpits aflame with righteousness”!  

If we are ever going to reclaim our God-given destiny of being a “shining city upon a hill” and shake off the chains of socialist slavery, we must ensure that the church in America is boldly addressing the issues of the day!
